An Invitation to All FAS, Snowmobile, and ATV Instructors

American Heart Association First Aid, CPR, and AED training.

 

 

The MN Volunteer Safety Instructors Association, along with the Anoka County Safety Instructors, are partnering with Kathy Messer from the American Heart Association to offer their First Aid, CPR, and AED certification course.

 

As DNR certified instructors, we need to be prepared for any emergency which may come up. This course will focus on situations DNR instructors may find themselves in while in the classroom or outdoors during the field day, and is open to all Snowmobile, ATV, and FAS instructors. By attending this program, you will be certified in all three American Heart Association programs: First Aid, CPR, and AED.

This course will be offered in Oak Grove, MN at the New Life Lutheran Church just off Hwy 22 and Hwy 9 in Anoka County.

Location:  New Life Lutheran Church, 18975 Lake George Blvd., Oak Grove, MN

 

Date:         Saturday, April 28, 2018

 

Time:         7:30 am Registration and Coffee

                  8:00 am to 5 pm Course

 

Fees:         $60.00 per person (lunch and breaks included)

Due to a limited participant size of 20, you must pre-register for this course by April 20th. We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins.

 

 

 

 

Future RSO Course Information:

 

We are working on options for scheduling future RSO courses. We will post those dates and locations when we have them confirmed. Please check this site in the future for the updates – we will also have a link to the registration page.

 

If you have a location capable of hosting the RSO program (comparable to a FAS class), please let us know. We are looking for possible locations and teams to help host future courses. Please send suggestions to our registration email box at:    registration@mvsia.org
